Sushiland have been a staple in Hayward for a long time now. I remember coming here back in the early 2010s before they extended the restaurant with the extra seating. They're a small restaurant located about 5-10 minutes away from downtown Hayward. When I'm in the mood for sushi rolls and bento boxes this is the place that satisfies that craving. There's a large variety of different rolls here. Everything from sashimi style to deep fried rolls filled with cream cheese. They're not on top of my list for fresh sashimi but it's decent enough to get the job done. One of my favorite items here is the Jalapeño Bomb appetizer. It's a deep fried jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese, crabmeat and spicy tuna. I promise you won't regret ordering this. Otherwise, everything else is similar to any American Japanese restaurants. Service was quick and friendly. Our water cups stayed filled and the food arrived in the timely manner.

Was looking for a new sushi restaurant and came across this "whole in the wall" type sushi spot. It is very unassuming and you could almost miss it from the street. The inside is pretty small, I think you can only seat about 5 tables inside, but it looks like they may have some outdoor seating as well. Service is friendly, and food is pretty good. I would say that the rolls are bigger than average. I forgot to take a pictuee of the bento box but my neice got a 2 entree box and it was pretty big! The only thing I may pass on mext time is calamari, I found it to be a bit boring in flavor and texture.

Yummy Americanized Japanese sushi and food. No food shrinkflation here, the rolls are pretty big. My partner and I had 3 rolls and we left full and happy. I really like the variety on the menu. Decent options for a vegetarian and picky eater. We got dragon roll, baked lion king roll and a vegetarian roll. The dragon roll was nicely stuffed, lion king was tasty and the vegetarian roll was refreshing. I think it's safe to say we found our go to sushi joint in the East Bay.
